Your work

Everything you write, draw, upload or discuss with the mentor belongs to your account. It is stored privately and is only readable by you, and by anyone you explicitly invite to a project. Projects are private by default.

What we store

• Your account email and display name.
• Your projects, documents, artwork, references and mentor history.
• Your workspace preferences.
• Anonymous product events (for example “a project was created”) with a random identifier — never your creative text, titles or conversations.

What we never store

• Your password in readable form.
• Payment card details.
• The content of your writing inside analytics.

Trying Atelier without an account

The free preview on the home page sends your text to the AI model to be read, and returns notes. The text itself is not saved in Atelier's database. A draft is kept in your browser so it can move into your account if you sign in. We keep a one-way hash derived from network and browser information plus a UTC-day count to enforce the preview limit.

AI processing

Text and images you submit for feedback are sent to our AI provider to produce that feedback. Requests are made from our servers; API keys are never present in your browser. Provider handling outside Atelier is governed by that provider's terms; Atelier does not make a separate promise here about provider retention or training.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual pieces, artwork and projects at any time from inside the app. To request whole-account deletion through Help. We will confirm the request and explain any records that must be retained for billing, security or legal reasons before deletion.
